Reminds me of the old west, if I ever know of such a thing. It makes me want to escape from the posse that is hot on my trail. I can see freedom heading through that pass.

It makes me think of a Louis L'Amour story of hiding out in the mountains and caves for weeks on end.
the size you put up. It seems small to me for some reason, do you do a lot of your pictures at about twenty inches?

Yes, 16x20 or 18x24 but I would like to start painting bigger...much bigger!

One of my brothers paints a bit, mostly abstract, but he is obsessed with getter bigger and bigger. His last painting was longer than his couch that sat underneath it.

The thing is that it costs a fortune to paint that big, ya know? ..sigh..

Sometimes he does it with giant panes of plywood he assembles into tiles himself. Painting is kind of a ridiculously expensive hobby, it's really not fair.
