It's hard to believe that with all of it's colors, textures, and shadings that this could be done up so quickly. I like his helmet, it has sort of an original design and yet it has it's own uniqueness to it, the texture of the beard makes him look more realistic, and the way you've capture the glare of his eyes just adds to that. The sword stained with blood, the armor with it's alluring golden luster, this pic has all wonderful features of a medievil type setting. Very nice and still so hard to believe, not that I'm calling you a liar or anything.

Kind of reminds me of Varus leading his roman forces against the teutons, but the gets ambushed by teoton leader Arminius. This image displays an roman soldier on alert waiting for the next ambush.
