It took about one week of daily drawing to capture all the detail (plus I'm kind of strict and critical with myself and don't want to stop until everything's as I want it). Thanks for your nice words!

i was having a slight drawing crisis and refused to draw as i was not happy with any thing but seeing you reptile has made me want to try to draw a reptile as i never have

Reptiles are quite different to draw, with angles and scales and rough textures - large scales, like an iguana has, are really nice to work with! I'm looking forward to your work!
