I have to say, your sculptures are amazing. How long does it usually take you to finish one of these?

Thank you very much!
It varies, and sometimes I lose track of time. I believe this dragon here took around 25 hours total. He is a big boy.

Is monster clay a good clay to work with? It seems you really prefer it and I'm interested in why

It is my favorite clay! Not messy like chavant can be, I can get MUCH more detail with monster clay, AND it comes out of the mold super clean. You really have to clean out a chavant sculpt from the mold, and with dragons in the mold, it can be very tough.

How do you make your molds? By the way I just want to thank you for always responding. It really helps and I appreciate it a lot

Sorry for the delay in my response, I make 2 part molds by making a mold box. I lay the sculpt down with a "negative" clay bed, then pour the silicone to make the halves. I have some pictures of some of the steps on my Facebook page. There are also some how to videos on the internet that some very talented moldmakers have posted.
