I haven't post any art in such a long time! (lazy btw)But i decided 2 do some fanart from one of my favorite animes NARUTO. So i choose Sakura and My favorite HINATA.
Well... i decided to make them in mermaid form. This is my very 1st time doing lineart well i liked how it came out.
I think i gonna do something similar but with tenten and ino.
p.s. I hope that i don't take tht long 2 post something else.

anime/manga doesn't really shadow in like other drawings, they actually just put a darker spot so i tryd 2 do it like tht!

Yeah I know how anime shadows are, I started out like that, remember? If you want me to specify, I find that the skin lacks a lot of shading, and the tails look like pieces of cloth to me. If you shade them differently, like choose different spots to make darker, it'll get a different effect too. Also, the shadow depends on the anime, each anime has a different way, some more detailed than others. Personally I prefer the detailed ones. Oh and beside shading, anime also uses highlights, it's a kind of shading too

congrats on your first line art! its a nice drawing and the line art is quiet neat, i do think some shadowing would com in handy tho, still great work
