*CarolinSajur sent me this way to do a bit of critique. Hiya! e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/sā€¦ " width="15" height="15" alt="" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="391" title=" (Smile)"/>

First up - this is awesome. The character you've painted has a great deal of character already and is highly dynamic, helped along by the magic swirly bit she's playing with.

The light from the magic is superb and the huge palette you've drawn from for it is ace. It really breaks apart a picture that otherwise keeps to its own few set of colours, and that little bit of dichotomy really brings life to the image. It retains the focus on that awesome swirl of magic whilst not making anything else look too bland by comparison.

The only piece of critique I have is regarding that bridge between the colour and the rest of the image. I feel there's a lovely and stark contrast there, but can't help but feel that there needs to be a slight meld between the two "halves" of the image. It'd draw it together a bit more where it currently stands out, though I'm not one hundred percent sure that's necessarily a negative thing. You may have done it purposefully, but otherwise I would have loved to see a bit of the colours bleed onto her jacket as that part of the shading is fairly minimal.

Love the picture, though! I shall follow you. e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/sā€¦ " width="15" height="15" alt="" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="391" title=" (Smile)"/>

So I know CarolinSajur said already that but she is totally right, the colours of the light is breathtaking and it looks like the aurora dancing in the sky You managed it so well with the different tonalities inside this ! I'm really impressed

Man...The colors of the light are maddeningly beautiful. Looks like twisted auroras. Well done!
