this is my 100th deviation. i sketched this one like a month ago. i couldnt get the background right so i threw it to the side and did the spider web. i think i got it right now. this piece touches me for some reason. it makes you feel small and alone. the earth came out great in my opinion. im not sure about the rip on the right. i think it isnt needed but it does add another level to the piece. it also gave me more things to tie my tendrils to. hope you like it as much as i do....Related content

Yeah, I think you can definatly improve on technical aspects of your work, (can't we all), but overall I like alot of your concepts and compositions in your surrealist work. Some of the compositions give me a very awkward feeling like the one with the worm hole. I really like the awkward uneasy feeling that it creates. If you got just a little bit more exagerated contrast between your lights and shadows, possibly using cool colors in the shadows, and warm colors in the lights, I think you'd get better responces from alot of people. Most people like high contrast in paintings, because it adds some drama. But wether or not you take this suggestion, your stuff's still rockin me pretty good.

That's very creepy when you try to look at it deeply. Of all the things in the pic.. my eye is drawn to the satellite. You did a good job on it. On the earth too.. it looks like its a topographic map or whatever those things are called hehe.. and the eye reminds me of an easel.

yeah i got a problem with these eyes for some reason. ive also been developing something with this stretchy crap. all i can do is try to work through it. eye am guilty as charged and ill join the club....

Well, I believe this eye thing is not quite a problem, or nothing to be worried about as an artist... I allways paint eyes, hands, clocks sometimes... and now I've developed a new obsession: butterflies... But I thing it's okay! Most Artists have theme they use over and over again, without becoming borring and without giving the feeling they're out of inspiration! Eye admire your works!

oooo, me likey. Sorry i havent been commenting much, lack of time. critique: the center circles would have looked a bit better if they would ahve been black reflective orbs. Very nice job
