A late halloween picture. It's one of my creatures, a rifter. Ain't he cuuute? x_xYes, I know the light source doesn't really work. I tend to shade evil things with the light coming from below, so I did that. I was going to add some flames or something at the bottom of the background for the light source to work but then they didn't really fit in, so I put a cliche halloween moon and clouds in although it only looked right if it was up in the top of the picture. I tried putting it down below, but it just didn't work. So, there you have it. A backwards lightsource Dx
The rifter's jaw and whatnot is all crooked because it's like a ZOMBIE. And if you're half-dead, things tend to fall off and rott a bit x| Although I love the veiny tounge. It's all... inflamed looking...? xP

Oh my.. this seriously looks like something I had a nightmare about a month ago.. I was on an island, and it was trying to eat me, and there were man eating lizards too.
whenever I have a nightmare, its about something trying to eat me. o_o
but this really does look like the thing that tried to eat me. thats creepy.

He has a nose, it just...decayed, because he's a zombie.
Yeah, light source-ing is pretty tough until you get the hang of it. Then it's pretty great. Adds...um...3-D-ness to the drawing.
