Good lord your doll work is so excellent but I always forget how amazing your paintings are until there's a new one. I have no words.

Man I can only imagine! You Room Guardians clearly take a lot of time but seem to be down to a science more-so than a big painting would be. (I feel that way about the little guys I felt for festivals in comparison to the big pieces I have so few of haha)

Gorgeous! Just as magnificent and detailed as your sculptures!
I have few questions: What are those plants that look like green roses? Succulents, maybe? Or simply green roses? xd Also, what is that black-white-purple oval on cats belly? And finally, do the species of plants you painted symbolise something specific? I know that chrysanthemums are popular grave decorations in Poland, not sure if in other countries too

Hey! Sorry for taking forever to respond!
Yes the plants are succulents!
The oval is sort of just a break in space. It's a hole in reality or uncertain possibility.
It's of course open for interpretation, but this is a portrait of my cat who disappeared
so even though he's probably dead, it's still unsure. He forever lives in a state of uncertainty
for me.
The plants were not placed with any symbolic significance.
Thank you for such thought provoking questions though!

Thank you for the reply! I really like this idea of immortality caused by forever unsureness whether he's dead or alive. In some sense it makes him a Schrodinger's cat xd

I'm sorry about your cat. I've lost animals and that what-if feeling and missing them never seems to leave. Beautiful piece. You are a wizard with oil paints.

This is amazing. The attention to detail is absolutely stunning. As much as it is a sad piece for me, it is a beautiful piece.

Wow, this is stunning!! I love how the background(?) looks both like an Alice in Wonderland rabbit hole/garden and also kind of like a rug? It has such a homey feeling to it and yet so macabre at the same time. So pretty. <3
