Description Daemon Vitale are an invented species and they are life giving spirits that can only be seen for an instant at corners of your vision when you turn your head. They are essential to keeping the earth in balance whether it means giving a life or taking life in order to give more life. In some cultures, these creatures are feared, and in others worshipped. Either way, the Daemon Vitale are timeless spirits that have aided the earth since it's birth.

This moon walker has a clear quartz heart and has an very soft rabbit fur coat. It's back stands about 6 inches off the ground. The frame is mildly posable; its forelegs, neck, and tail bend freely all over and it's back legs bend below the thigh.

Room Guardians are small creatures that protect one's home from negative spirits and energies. These friends can be easily placed on window sills, kitchen shelves, dressers, or wherever to keep watch over the room. Each guardian has a genuine rabbit fur coat and each is individually sculpted from the wire frame to the clay face and hands, so no two are alike. The room guardians' arms, tails, and necks are bendable and Inside each of their chests is a unique crystal heart to give each one a different energy. These little guys have a lot of character and they love having a home to watch over.

 1. How did you come up with the room guardian concept?
The idea caught fire when a friend and I were walking through an antique store. On one of the bookshelves sat two stuffed foxes wearing riding clothes. I contemplated buying them because one could convince themselves that their expressionless stares were actually seeing and watching over the room. It was as if they were alive though they were a long way from being realistic. My contemplation came to an end when I realized I could spend less money and have a better one if I just made it myself. That is where

This is very great, I love the detail, but I have to ask,
Where do you get the rabbit fur?
I'm asking for the curiosity of myself, and the worry of fur farms.
I'm just wondering that are they being hurt?

Thank you!

So I started using rabbit fur by chance because I had an old fur coat that I used to make
my first room guardian and I just got attached to it. I used to order fur from just the cheapest
sources just turning a blind eye to the treatment of the rabbits even though I was full aware
of the cruelty that many animals in the fur trade face. With my conscience growing heavier,
this past September I took my last orders from these places so I could finish my commissions.
From now on I am just using the fur I have, and ordering faux fur. If I am to use real fur again,
I will purchase from humane sources or just use old thrift store coats. I have had many people
ask about this and it's something that is on my mind very often. You may have noticed more
room guardians being made with faux fur. The shift will be gradual considering I still have a lot
of left over real fur to use up, but I am making a change. I hope you understand

A lot of rabbit pelts actually come from places that use them for food. Of course not all of them will use humane methods to kill the rabbits (food animals can't really be euthanized with chemicals), but a lot of them do, and using the pelt is a way to use as many parts of the animals as possible. Reusing old coats is a nice idea, though.

Love the mane and tail on this guy. Did you dye the tail at all?

Thanks for giving me that info! I guess what I really need to do is just do my research
on the fur I get. I have spoken to a girl who was very involved in the rabbit world. She
said there are a lot of rabbit vendors that use humane killing methods for rabbit fur
and do not let the animal go to waste. I have heard that a lot of the fur animal's meat
is wasted, but I guess I really just need to read up.

I did not dye the tail. The long fur on the end is fox fur I believe from the hood of an old
coat.
