I figured it was about time you guys saw my newly improved Pit cosplay from the front. *KingdomZelaybli and I had a lovely photoshoot together during Sunday afternoon at Cos & Effect! It was nice and sunny, and although it was rather hot, it was pleasantly hot. I had a lot of fun walking around and striking poses (sometimes even straight-up roleplaying) as Pit. Looking through the shots we got, I really feel an elevated sense of confidence with my work as a cosplayer. ^u^

I have to say, despite certain experiences that have occurred during the last couple of years that have deteriorated my confidence as a crossplayer, I really love being Pit. The fact that I'm playing a boy doesn't really even occur to me while I cosplay him, and I definitely don't feel self-conscious. I guess I just have a knack for little boy heroes, but also there's something about Pit's character in particular (what I know about it, anyway) that I really like. Plus his design is just awesome (MAN GARTERRRR), I really love wearing the wings and all my straight-up greek gear. Plus I am so happy with how my wig and makeup came out. Everyone was really supportive, I got a lot of compliments and photos (even though it was a Sunday). Anyway, there's just something really special about how that Sunday experience as Pit went and it's nice to know that I felt just as confident playing Pit as I was playing the girls I cosplayed that weekend; hopefully I'll be able to fully regain my crossplay confidence and get back into playing lots of guys like I did last year.
