Very cute. I will most likely see this in theatres but actually I've missed pretty much every super hero movie in theatres this year.

I love your chibi work, though it's an even chance I might miss this in theaters. Β The last movie I made the effort to see in theaters was the Star Wars one, and I waited until Deadpool was on DVD to see that one.

I wanted to catch Star Wars while it was still in theaters and when the opening day / week crowds had gone. Β I liked it--lots of nods to the old franchise and lots of interesting new directions.

i wish DC would choose you as the next scottie young for their covers... your chibis rock and are full of expressions...they need you for their covers or better yet... your art style in chibis would rock as a new cartoon series or my personal fave... vinyl figures

I'm apprehensive about the movie, but I'm hopeful it'll turn out decently.

I'm burnt out on hero movies honestly. But this one looks okay. I'm not going to be suprised if it ends up bombing but I'll give it a chance actually.

Quality doesn't always mean quantity for me. I don't like the idea of MCUs for example because one film then drags every other film connected to it down by virtue of it sharing plot elements with them, and eventually it's clandestine that these characters meet which sucks if you don't like all the movies. I've outright decided not to pay attention to Marvel at this point due to political conflicts with the company, but I rue the day for example when Guardians meets the avengers in any form; I actually liked the former but not the latter movies. Other than that you get all sorts of other problems, like trends. I liked deadpool, but Batman V. Superman reshooting to make it R rated is frankly idiotic. At the same time, Hollywood's inability to create original stories means 9 times out of 10 we're getting dumbed down plots from the comics that had more room to breath and thus were simply better done.
I appreciate the rare modern hero film, certainly, but I enjoyed it better back in the Rami Spiderman and Alba Invisible woman days. They actually had to stand on their own as movies, rather than leaning on each other so heavily.Β But se la vie, really. I suppose it's good to keep the brands around for the moments they do shine.
