Description The first picture I took with my new "will be a backup" camera, my mothers Casio QV 4000. curl
Incredibly old, however it's the first time I have complete control over an image. Note the fact that everything is just about in focus

So what do you think. Should I have made it lighter? darker? lower aperture? different composition?

In my opinion its fine just the way it is. Making it lighter would take away from the picture's overall sense of simplicity.

I love it just give it a bit less contrast so you can see the texture better but i like how you framed it

Yes I should lessen the contrast. Thanks!

This pic's one of the many architectural shots i saw with a very unique composition. Love the strong shape, no doubt!
I just don't really like the purplish feel..(my opinion..) ..just felt more "cold" with just the blue.. it's just my opinion though..

Hmm yes I suppose the duotone didn't really pay off the way I'd hoped. Too much white. I'll convert it to bw

This is great. (Except it is not square, or doesn't have sheep in it. Oh, well.)

Because you have such a strong shape in it, the exposure doesn't matter much. You could make it a complete silhouette, or give it a texture by exposing 'roperly'. Matter of taste, really.

I like this. It's really good.

There's two white spots that look like stuck pixels...It's kind of hard to point out where they are. I didn't see it until I zoomed in.

Oh I see. Although they are real, I'll sort that out. Thank you very much! That's a very observant eye you have
