Description
I felt like drawing something with a rainbow for some time
To be honest I had the rainbow drawn for a couple of month, the same about this sea - sea and beach just needed a change of colours ^^ I thought that Cirdan would look great in this chocolate coloristic
his design is now mine and I changed it a bit, yet the original designer is =fantasydreamer24
I'd probably use this pose to made a proper reference for him

My base idea was to create completely greyish world with big beautiful rainbow in the centre of the sky. But this character just had to gain his own chocolate'y picture...

The background goes perfectly - I particularly like the water. The subtle rainbow adds a nice contrast to all the brown, too.

Though to be fair, that's how I feel every time I look at your artwork, not just when there are rainbows directly involved. I loved the look of this guy from his reference sheet, but he works so, so well with this setting, it kind of disturbs me how well you set up scenes/backgrounds. In summation: I love it.

Lovely color scheme with the warm browns, and the background is fantastic! I love how you did the reflective water and the sky. His mane and tail just flow so well, they look like they have a life of their own. Cirdan's pose and shading are awesome, you did a great job.
