Her brother, Blake, was the smartest of the four, but also the most passive. He was often picked on and it was Gwen her happily defended him, getting into the occasional fight.
When she first started high school, she wasn't sure what she wanted to do. Her brother Mark, who was a senior when she was in grade 9, was working toward the goal of an architecture. Blake was aiming to be a doctor and Dean was still too young to finalise his plan, though he hoped to be a police officer. It was then that she decided to carry the family legacy and become an artist.
After graduating, she moved from her home in Hilltop Zone to Metropolis City. Being the biggest city in the world, she figured she would find some excitement. For the first year or so, she worked at a popular cafe known as the Groovy Train. She also worked on the side as a freelance artist and did various commissions. When her work started to get more noticed, she was invited to work an art work shop. She left the cafe on good terms and moved on to the workshop where she continues to work today.
