I dont think there are really any nebulas out there that are placed right in the middle of a sun, so lets say this non realistic, but for all we know it can
. Painted the neb with my wacom 
The planet is my favorite (the clouds were not done by me!) I had a fun time doing this piece. The planet actually took more time than the whole piece! Enjoy

Thats awesome! You painted that black nebula? It looks like it was rendered in a fractal program. Amazing!
Planet looks cool too, very grungy though, Some grunge is good but too much can be unattractive (in my opinion).

You did a magnificent job on giving the nebula feeling. And yes, your planet does look nice, even tho you didn't do the clouds urself
I also enjoy the faded orange color you used throughout the peice, it gives it uniqueness.

i'd suggest that you keep the size of your image down. not the file size, but the image. it's better to have people view the whole piece on the screen instead of having them view it in parts. gives a much bigger impact

I think it has a great sense of depth. I don't like the debris in front of the sun, it takes away from it. The intensity of the planets atmosphere is done nicely with it's closeness to the sun. The planet itself also looks great! However, the nebula and stars in front of the nebula are very unrealistic. Stars and nebulae (especially) are HUGE, a star that small in comparison to the planet would be like a person shining a flashlight in space.
Overall looks really freakin awesome!

thye look like fractal brushes in the neb - pretty nice. Overall the piece is good but it lacks something, maybe more needed in the negative space. Also im not a fan of the asteroids in front of the sun. Umm only other thing would be the sun itself - its too simple, boring. Colour and technically. Throw us something new with the sun

I like simple pieces. Im not trying to make a big brilliant piece, and make everything perfect. Im more a of a simple guy with planets and nebulas, and plus i cant really do alot
