Thanks It is a 30-second exposure. Longer exposures resulted in star-trails rather than just 'spots'. I just have a regular tripod, so I was limited to that.

Of course, you need a very clear sky in order to get that many stars. The sky here in Denmark is no match to the sky in New Zealand, for example It was really breathtaking to be there for real
