So.. I don't even know what to say.. This was an extensive project @_@ I will say he is super huggable
He's not perfect, but I put my best effort into it and I'm really happy with how he turned out! Up is one of my favorite movies of all time, so I'm definitely planning on making the other characters including Ellie someday! I really hope I can do them justice >_< I need a break from crocheting human faces for a bit though 
Mr. Fredricksen is about 18 inches tall and completely wired. Details are needle felted including the soles of his shoes (not shown but had to be done!) I made three pairs of glasses total before I was finally happy with the last one
I always feel lost after finishing a big project.. So I'll stop yapping now. Enjoy!

He is funny. I like him! But I just started with #amigurumi my 1st umigurami was a bird which wasn't difficult to make! I was proud that I finally had done everything the patern said! The next day I woke up because my big cat was making a noise, running around in the livingroom (I have a wooden floor)! When I walked into the kitchen the cat walked to me as what he always does, but now he had something in his mouth! It was my first amigurami bird. The cat throwed it for my feets, in his cat mind he brought me food! The bird didn't looked good anymore and the cat is still playing with it! 😂😂😂

I've been a long-time admirer of your work, which I first discovered on Ravelry (my happy place!) I am just in awe. I hope will share more photos of your work and/or patterns, though I doubt few could come close to matching this original piece. Up holds a special place in my heart, as it's the first movie my husband (an extreme movie buff) and I ever watched together.

I'm interested in possibly crocheting Gaston from Disney. Human faces are ridiculous to recreate. Do you have any advise when turning a cartoon into a crochet piece like you did for the UP character? Also, for the body, did you crochet a full body piece and then crochet clothes to go on top of it? THANKS! Your work is amaizng
