This was my artwork for my college's Earth Day week celebration since they will be displaying 25 artworks from the art department

This was my artist statement below:

"Celebrating Earth Day focuses on the celebration of our planet and how we can all pitch in to help make it a better place for all of us and for all the other living creatures that we share it with. For the Earth Day project, I wanted to convey a unique approach to the holiday from a religious perspective. As a Christian, I believe that everything in nature is created by God and from my interpretation, his artistic masterpiece and gift to mankind. When creating this artwork, I had no intention to convert or force my faith on anybody; but to display a different, personal, perspective on celebrating Earth Day from a religious perspective. I do believe that every person has their motivation to celebrate Earth Day whether it be their pure love and appreciation for nature, or a significant event in their life. For me, it would have to be my faith in God and how taking care of the planet is an act of love and worship to Him."
