I can't see anything wrong with it. strange to see something that would normally bright and cheerful, Rainbow Wings, as sorrowful and downcast. the downcast setting also helps with the...somber...mood.

the problem with drawing on the computer, is that it's too restricting if you don't have a tablet, and a decent program. but that's not too bad.
i'd say practice more with pencil and paper

the problem with that is that that is harder to erase...and i then become a horrible sketch person, and my comp refuses to recognize my scanner.

hmm... the don't make mistakes? lol. nah, i've kinda forgotten what it's like to draw with pencil. i tend to use ink for most of my stuff 
scanners eat things anyway. i don't scan most of the stuff i draw by hand. it always looks so much better in real life

actually i am a rather good abstract B&W artist. The whole scene is made up of a single line that does whirls, and loops, & other stuff, but never touches itself.

This is really incredible work Zero, very impressive. I love the colors and the details, the feathers and fur are incredible. This is a very strange scene, but very emotional, wonderful work with the lighting and the overall tone.

BUT
well, his left hand looks a little awkward, no doubt, it is a great piece - it just looks sorta funny with all those fingernails and stuff pretruding through his, ehhh... nvm.

yeah, I see the problem now, both the hands are resting on each other, which in turn are resting on the handle, you could've made the right-hand as a fist, while the other one an open-palm..?
