Grimm is made of custom dyed minky, minky, and wire for the armature. They are a little under 10 inches from the solid part of the cap to the bottoms of the feet. The details on this plush are a mix of embroidery and applique. None of the accessories are removable. There is wire armature in the base body and the tail for posing!
WHAT A CUTIE! Some fun facts:
The base blue color of the body, base blurple color of the coat and brim of the heat were all test dyes from the Luna beanie I made!
The concept was for Grimm to be more flat-- there was actually quite a bit of patterning that needed to be done to try to achieve the shape of the plush.
The armature is looped through the flat part of the legs by patterning the legs onto the base body, and a running stitch across the seam to make the legs look like they’re “flat” and sewn into the seam of the base body!
The sleeves were patterned into the base body of the plush to make the arms not look so thick and baggy!
This little one was a joy to make!
