Here's my entry for 's "Switched" contest.The premise of the contest was to take two DC Comics characters and switch them. So, here's Dick Grayson and Barbara Gordon switched out... I went with yellow for Barbara's "Nighthawk" costume because of the yellow go-go boots she wore when she was Batgirl. Hope you dig it.
It'd be kind of an interesting Alternate Universe. What if Joker had put Grayson in the wheelchair instead of Babs. Would they have become "Nighthawk" and "Odin" instead?

More importantly, Barbara was sometimes a lot more selfish and arrogant than Dick when they were both younger. Would she have been as supportive as he has been?

Very true. They were both very different individuals! I wonder about that myself. How supportive would younger Babs have been? For that matter how would Bruce have reacted versus how he reacted when it was Barbara? A lot of interesting "what ifs" could be considered and toyed with there. Anyway, Thank you for the comment!

I think Argus would be a cool name. A Greek monster with countless eyes, that could see everything.

Yeah, I think Nighthawk and Batman would KILL Joker if he shot Dick.
I honestly think he would be called Huginn or Muninn, you know, one of Odin's information-seeking ravens.

I wish that I had the time to sit down and write a story, but as you can probably tell simply from how long it's taken me to respond to this comment alone (not to mention lack of art updates on here) that I haven't been able to spare a lot of time for this kind of thing lately. It makes me a little sad, but I will get back to it someday (hopefully soon!) and then maybe I'll be able to tap out a story and illustrate it to go along with this.
Anyway, again THANKYOU! for taking the time to comment and suggest names. It's always nice to get feedback with a little bit of substance to it!

And laying it out like a comic page: Win! After all, it's about two comic characters, right?
Great job on the coloring, yellow for Babs, rather than the blue of Nightwing.

I also think it's awesome that you thought of that switch, too. I myself have always wondered what the DCU would be like if Dick was the one in the wheelchair and Babs was still out kicking butt in the field.
