Who doesn't love magic gold fantasy creatures? I had so much fun painting that sea serpent, hope you all enjoy too!

For this fantasy travel planner every artist was assigned a month and a type of landscape to work with. I was more than blessed with my own birth month of March and got the chance to illustrate cliffs! It was a very interesting challenge trying to keep the colors muted and let only the gold be a very saturated presence.
I especially enjoyed the decorative filigree inspired by medieval decorations in books and such. The process was a blast and it was a joy to work through the production period with the other artists!

These pieces I finished last summer and I'm very excited to be able to share them now. Stay tuned for the other image I did!
