Are they absorbing the essence to further their own gain- or just as a part of nature?

I had such a hard time with this draw-this-in-your-style challenge, but in the best way. It was SUCH a great prompt, but pouring it into a composition a little more my own and inserting some storytelling beats that I liked was a lot more difficult than I anticipated. I'm really happy with the result though!
I got some great feedback, so this is one of the first times I've actually committed to rimlighting like this haha. It sure was a piece I've learned a lot from!
