I dunno, lol it's weird critiquing you when you live in the same house as me, but I'll say something.
It seems like the coloring on the skin of the people is really ... uhhhhh flat, or soft, it like, sinks together. If that makes sense? Since there are no lines in this type of art, try to accentuate the solid forms in the figures with deliberate shadows or highlights. Making them softer in some places and sharper in others is a good way to do that, and I know you already know that.
That's probably the only thing I notice in colored art with no lines. Since it's structured with value and brush strokes instead of lines and sketching, you really have to pay attention to the anatomy and lighting because that is the structure of the image.
That's why I usually don't do line-less coloring, I'm too lazy and it takes forever if you really want to get everything right.
