Description
Two stones, diverse in what they show, although similar in what they hold:

The rock is simple, without luster or gloss. It keeps under the worst storms and still holds for the brightest of days. Living with it's simplicity, allowing many to outshine it. Content with with all that's around; sturdy with those closest to it. Exsiting without eons of change, needing nothing more than what it has.
Underneath rock lies it's gem, hidden from sight. Vibrancy that is small but within. If peered in deep one may see the glow.

The gem is visonary, with pure passion emiting from it's edges. It aspires to be brighter then what it is, for whenever the light may shine upon it, it will shine back brighter. The gem is free to be cut, pressed, and worn, with a constant aura that calls for travel and exposure. An essance to be of worth is it's purpose, welcoming a great experience to come in it's lifetime.
Not all gems are appreciated in a world where there are so many to see. Those however who even have the weakest shine, still can shine.

Strength is commonly bound tight in both the gem and the rock. Enduring whatever is met in life. Staying strong in the process.

Last night I was overtaken by this feeling of dread, where I wanted to just escape my thoughts (even if was for a short time). So I decided to do do something new. Basically trying to paint with a clear mind, no mental restricions of what I should do to the drawing, or how I should go about it. No, just doing a piece out of raw instinct.

Honestly it was extreamly therapeutic to do, and while the end result was not as clean as my other pieces; It was something completley different from what I would expect. Sometimes it's feels good just to break away from everthing and... well...paint. and while I am far from being a decent poet, I felt like a poem to help express my thoughts afterward helped tie in the tone of it all. I hope you guys don't mind.
