DeviantART eats image quality. This was so much sharper when I drew it.
I notice it more and more lately.So this is a kinda messy piece XD I've been doing it between a bigger piece I'm working on, so hopefully I'll finish that soon.
For those of you who remember my Chittercida, Kai, this is his humanised version ^^ I've been wanting to do something like this for him since I got him so I'm glad I finally did

This looks fantastic! You did such an incredible job with the texturing and shading and all those little (more than little actually, you must've worked with 1842% zoom XD) details here and there, it makes the whole piece look so polished, it's definitely pro quality, it's really stunning 
There's a very special atmosphere with this one (and your latest pieces overall), it's like half unearthly, half dreamly, half relaxing and calm. But not creepy or unsettling (to me at least), not at all. It's very pleasant to look at, it gives a feeling of contemplating something from another world. You've always had a lot of personality in your art (and it mostly showed through the atmosphere of the pieces IMO) but I really love it when it shows this way. I love this part of your imagination ^^
Alright that's enough and that's already quite a load, I'm done now XD two things before I'm off: sorry I didn't see this amazing thing before, I suck at managing my notifications and we're currently undergoing a flood in my dA mailbox, and those little blood drops (am I right or am I creepy ?) flying in the air look awesome. I like when you put stuff floating in the air

I'm actually really glad you get that kind of atmosphere from them, especially this one, since that's the very same atmosphere I get from Kai's theme song that I linked and wanted to try to replicate

And haha yeah he is a guy - unfortunately it's just a thing of my style that I haven't really figured out how to make the faces more masculine while still keeping the general 'shape', I'm working on it though XD I thought the addition of the beard might help here but nobody seems to notice it XD

The beard was a definite push towards a male so you did great there I would say the most confusing part was the hair and your face as you mentioned it didn't quite bring out a mans face had me thinking girl no wait she has a beard so he
