Why both drawings are quite a bit different in general aesthetic, style, and overall scenery I'm going to consider this my redraw as thats what I was aiming for. Truth be told I really really wanted to aim for as far from the old version as possible anyways while still using my friends character and I think I did okay? I had to use a reference for the scenery and why it's not perfect, I wasn't aiming for hyper realistic anyways.

The speedpaint for this redraw will be up on my youtube channel eventually, but I have to do some editing on the footage for it first plus it took like 2+ hours so it'll probably take at least 30 minutes-a full day to be uploaded. I don't often draw backgrounds unless I need to for the sake of making a piece fit into it's proper aesthetic / theme. Since the original piece had a background I decided it was probably for the best this one did too.
