Smart work, high impact, drama, movement. Clever use of diagonal to increase tension.

Great shot.

Cheers

Thanks eyelight, I was suppressed by this pic. I was just wandering around a junkyard and thought I'd take a shot... Makes me think I should be carrying my camera around more.

Yeah, it is such an interesting car. It makes for a great subject for a pic. Alas though, it wasn't running. A ride would have been fun.

WOW! How do you get such crazy dramatic sky!? Looove the colors, too! Not to mention the snazzy old-timey car!

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Archangelical In reply to Rocky-O [2011-09-06 23:04:34 +0000 UTC]

Hmmm... do you really want to know? I up'd the contrast, dodged and burned, then I used liquify to bend it and put that layer on 30 percent or so. I was kinda happy myself with how that worked out.

Your comment makes me happy. Thanks!

OMG, really! Wow, that's super cool. I don't normally work with pictures, but I'd love to try that someday.... Awesome, thanks for sharing me your technique!
