Description Eurydice

This is an older work, but its one of the first images where I think I realized I was developing a "style" and its always been one of my favorites.

Since uploading the print, people have wanted to see a larger version so here it is.

What an interesting sense of place this creates... it's mysterious and magical, slightly surreal with its superimpositions. Surprisingly, it's not really sexual, despite the partial nudity. The focus is on thoughts of distant and strange places, distant and strange times. The daytime moon and coarse-textured cliffs and ruins... perfect background for the subject.
