Archon, Badb Cheraka Aith-Angau (Translation- She with the seductive face of Doom, Archon is title for leader, and Badb is an honorary title for females) is the de-facto leader of my fantasy sci-fi army of Dark Eldar from Games Workshop’s Warhammer 40,000 gaming system.

Dark Eldar society is such that the most cunning and ruthless rise to positions of power. Aith-Angau (shorter version of her name) was just that. Her main raiding force is called the Soul Harverstors, who pay allegiance to the Kabal of the Black Phoenix (of which she is the leader, or Archon). According to eldar culture; Black Phoenix, is a perversion of the symbolism of the Phoenix God, which is a god of light, and Black, being the color of Doom in the Eldar culture, the pendant she wears, and the tattoos on her arms are symbols of this Kabal, it is a corrupted eldar rune of the Phoenix.

I have had this collection since the beginning of this millennium, and throughout the years, they have built a sound reputation for terror (literally so, I might proudly add ) in their campaigns. Having only been defeated but a few times; rightfully so, the character of Aith-Angau has been at the forefront, and she alone strikes terror into the heart of the enemy.

This image is of her, as she would appear in everyday attire. If I find the resources, I hope to have her in her battle attire as well.
