dont run any application in the back ground. and u can increase the use of ram memory of photoshop from 50% to what ever of ur choice. see if tht helps. and if it gets slow. just re start ur comp. and try

in edit > preferences > performance, increase the cache level and give it a good amount of space for scratch disks. It should work.
