Between the 3 most recent pieces you've done, you seem to be in a tough spot in life. Tell me if I'm wrong. Wish I could help... the best I could do is say that if you are in a tough spot, keep pulling through. Even when the rain is thickest, the sun will shine through eventually.

I can understand your reservations, but I do appreciate you sharing it. I've always emphasized with pieces like this - putting up a face both for the sake of others, and yourself. I really dig the raw emotion here.

Indeed! Though I am not a good artist (mostly for a crippling self-criticism when it comes to drawing), I love translating emotional intensity into my writing, particularly in dialogue (so much to the degree that finding various quotes is just about a hobby of mine). What good is the arts if we can't empathize or be stirred by it?

True, I know this feeling all too well. But putting on a face is just a way of lying to yourself and others. It's important to let others know when you aren't doing ok, cause if all you show them is a face, they can never really understand how you might be really feeling.
