Me too, brass is best. But this car won my heart. I mean, it was just sitting there, just waiting to race again. Have you ever read the book Chitty Chitty Bang Bang?

Well it was like when Chitty was sitting derelict under a tarp, just waiting to be rescued. That's how it was with Trinity, you could just sense the immense power and legacy of the car and it was just dying to be back on the road; the tarmac back under its wheels. And I always wanted a Chitty of my own, and this was a ticket. Ok, maybe not an 23 liter aero-engined brass radiatored, Brooklands racecar, but it was the spirit of the car that made it like Chitty. That need, that desire to RACE. And that's why I love her so much. She's just so awesome!(P.S. Did I happen to mention Richard Petty won a bunch of races in a 1969 Ford Talledega, which was basically a modified Torino GT. Look it up.)
