This would be No. 3 in the 100 Theme Challenge with the theme Light. I know that some of this is wrong and I couldn't really be bothered getting the shadows under her feet right, but I needed to do something before I went insane.

I created this because I wanted to show the world pain. At one point in our lives we will all experience it, but the way we deal with it, is up to us. It's called pain for a reason. It's going to hurt. Things don't hurt though, unless they mean something. From the pain we experience, there must have been something good before it.

I find that so many times the only way to get through, is with the comfort and support of those around us. Whether it's just a cyber hug or a real shoulder to cry on, having someone there to care or listen is the most important part of moving on.

Eventually though, we feel the pain slip away from under our fingers. Things don't hurt as much as they used to and something beautiful will find it's way into our life. It will never ever replace all the good we might have experienced before, but it will a new kind of good.

...and then it happens.

We let go.

I dedicate this to my friend ~Jack-of-Grim -- a most talented writer- who has recently lost someone who has been most dear to his heart. As much as he says I don't, I do understand what he's feeling and I hope he can get through it.
