Description According to the little card that came with this, this is a Lemon Symphony Osteospermum. It's one of my new flowers in my porch boxes.

Osteopermum is a strange name for a flower. I don't think it actually has bones. I hope not anyway.

I didn't notice the purple center when I was grabbing pretty flowers to buy. Now that I've taken a good look I absolutely adore these. So pretty. And the group of three plants has a bunch of blossoms.

The little drop of water is just from me watering the flowers this morning. I wasn't trying for the ol' cliched water drop on a petal photo. Just the cliched pretty flower photo. Needless to say, expect a fair number of flower pictures from me over the summer.

Just the weird schedule I'm on at the moment. I had a day last week where I only slept 4 hours and then had a long day and it threw me all out of whack. Now I'll cycle around. It'll be nice to be a morning person for a week or so.

When I'm off schedule I try to stay up an extra hour or two every day to turn myself around. It usually works.

Purple and yellow sound like bad color choices for your school. But they sure are pretty on flowers.

Yup!
I've even seen purple and yellow on a house but with the shades that were used, it looks absolutely gorgeous!! The purple is a bit greyish and the yellow is not too bright.

They would do well, I think. They love full sun. You'd have to make sure to keep them watered though.
