I like the strong colours in this one, and also your short description/story goes really well with the pic! I like how you made it look a little bit like folded paper through different "layers", just a little hint of origami style in this... (I hope you understand what I mean... quite difficult to explain I guess)

thank you (: , i used oil color but not on canvas on a thick paper, and I made those tiny lines by scratching the oil color before getting dry compeletely

Beautiful piece. I really like the abstract portrayal of the jungle, and the amount of life and engery you convey, even though the subject matter is only leaves. Such vibrant color and the linear quality reminds me of African art, which is also colorful and full of soul and life. The detail in color variation and placement of the fine lines is truly amazing. This is now my desktop wallpaper. The bright colors cheer me up in the dull gray world of winter.
