Description
So here's the WIP for my blastsword that I'll be using as my primary weapon for my Mandalorian cosplay. It's made primarily out of 1/2" MDF, with a few pieces of 1/4" for details and such. The barrel is made out of PVC pipe, and the muzzle is two different couplings put together.

This picture is slightly outdated, but only slightly, and there's still a bit of work to do before it all gets glued together. Still, it's coming together nicely, and with less problems than I anticipated. I daresay, I might actually be getting good at this prop making thing!

For those interested in it's functionality, it's basically a blaster that you have to hit people with. Wookiepedia states that once activated, the barrel fires off a shot once contact is made with the blade, and this blast can be scaled from anywhere between stun and kill lethality, pretty much. I'd like to imagine that mine has been modified to shot short distances via trigger pull as well, but that's just my head-canon XD

Anyway, I hope to have something worth showing for the rest of the costume soon, but for now questions, critiques and comments are, as always, more than appreciated.
