Could you please tell me how you changed the color of the feathers?
I have the feather model from Portal 2, but when I try to change the color using override materials, the feather retains a black tinge that makes it darker than the color I want it to be (in my case, I want some gold feathers). When I crank the RGB color settings of the feather up to white as an experiment, the feather appears gray.

I think I modified the actual texture for the model to fir the color. Some models are just difficult to get all the colors to work right without playing with a lot of settings.

I actually had to watch the livestream to understand what those feathers are. I think the problem is the golden metal parts above the feathers and the way the wing is placed that makes it hard to recognize
