Shion's hand came down right in front of me, I looked up to see her eyes shimmering with a warmth I had yet to see in them. My own tiny hand reached out and laid a top her palm. I took a minute to really marvel at the sight, my tiny hand swallowed up in an ocean of a much larger hand. I traced the wrinkles in her palm with my fingertips and her hand twitched slightly, at first I thought it was from my touch but then I realized it was tickling her. I giggled a little bit and slowly climbed into her hand.

I rolled across her palm before coming to a rest in the center. Pushing myself up I tried to stand but found it to be incredibly difficult to get my footing. Skin was something really weird to stand on, well actually it was the muscles under that made it hard. They moved and shifted as Shion did, constantly changing the foothold I was able to get. A mere bend of her finger caused an entire change in the landscape of her palm and made me have to readjust my balance to keep from falling.

As her hand lifted I felt my stomach drop. I didn't think she'd let me fall but standing on an unsteady surface so far from the ground was unnerving. Or maybe it was the fact that I was placing my entire physical existence into the hands of another person. There was no escape when you were literally in the hands of someone else this big. I'd given up my ability to preserve my own body in every possible way, it was completely up to Shion to keep me safe while I was in her hand.

Her face was now level with me and I stared into her red eyes wondering if she knew the position I was in or if it was one of those things you can't realize unless you're actually in the position. I honestly couldn't tell so I just studied her eyes more. It was strange that her eyes were red, I'm not sure why this was the first time I'd really thought about that. You'd think that red eyes would be scary but they really weren't, maybe a little intense but not frightening. They weren't like the glowing red eyes in a cheesy horror movie they were more like fire, they had a glow but it was like an ember rather than a laser.

Was it weird that I was just staring at her eyes? I felt a little stupid but then I remembered I was sitting in her hand so yeah... everything about this was weird. I laughed thinking about how absurd and insane all of this really was.
