Description
What see a leopard if he look into the water of a little oasis in the middle of the hot savanna? His reflection or a potencial fish meal? Or... he just sat down on a cool place and try to sleep on a peaceful day in the grass.
This plate is made out of clay. I used the form of a simple plate and pressed the clay into it. After that I formed a little leopard which sit on the edge of the plate and scratched some lines to let it look like grass. Then after the first burn I glazed the plate with different colours and tried to overlap them a little bit. In the middle of the water I placed dark blue glass to let it look deeper.
This was a birthday present for a good friend of mine. I hope you like it. :3
