I may have posted this drawing at 11:30pm but I really wanted this done. I just couldn't sleep without it being finished.

Now for some reason I see this scene as a way Shads would forgive and thank her for understanding, which was the case in another version I suppose. (Not entirely sure) This scene in particular is a lot more different. As you can tell, Dema doesn't have her armor on just like in that drawing of Living curse. I believe this would take after... (SPOILER ALERT FOR THE ENDING OF: THE REVEAL STORY) Dema turned herself in to the authorities. She was locked up, but only for a few hours. Why? Because they decided she needed to pay a debt. What kind you ask? Why a little something called community service. Even the good guys get some sort of punishment. XD

The story doesn't end there. Shadow decided to go for a visit. This is where things get depressing. Dema was all over the floor in tears with no one by her side. Shadow quickly checked on her to see if she was alright. Nothing seemed wrong until she tells Shads that she couldn't take it anymore. At first he thought it was the whole community service, but then she says the following: Why did I became someone I never wanted to be? Why am I cursed? Why does everyone hate me? Shadow and Dema talked about this topic before. He thought she would get over it, but that wasn't the case. Once again, he stood by her side. Only this time there was nothing to turn away from. He embraced her tighter than ever before. Dema continued to cry as she mentions the same thing over and over again. That is until Shadow shed a tear and these words follow.

From then on no one knows what else happened between them. Some say they were there for each other. Others might say they were comforting each other all night and never let go once. Another might say that they went on to talk more about this with the others. Its all rumors. Only thing in mind is that Shadow and Dema, no matter what happens they will be there for each other.... as friends, right? Right. Yeah.
