Description

I needed a break from all the 3D stuff so here's a painting done in my usual style.

Here I wanted to portray depth by having distinct foreground, middle ground and background. I was also focusing on having well defined shadow and light areas by varying color temperature.

The composition is based on an S curve which is always effective in landscape subjects. It allows the viewer to slowly go through all the focal points. A care was taken to have a composition where the viewer is lead back inside the picture whenever approaching the edges.

This was painted using an open source painting app Krita with a paid Digital Atelier brush pack.
