An OC I made for my 6 year old niece. Her birthday is Saturday! I'm not sure who her monster parent is, or even if her name will remain Kadie Didd. I'm going to leave all that up to my darling little niece!Doll: Draculaura

i think its neat how something so plain can be turned into the perfect doll toy. i am using toothpicks coloring with markers and maybe put a bead on them to make a small magic wand! i also use old play doh to make crayons and stuff!

I don't know if I would classify it as hard so much as tedious. It takes a lot of time to do it right. There's all sorts of tricks to the trade concerning hairlines, styles, etc. It's definitely an artform that can't be perfected on the first try!

I taught myself using the tutorial from www.mylittlecustoms.com and I bought hair there too just as a THANK YOU for posting such useful knowledge. Here's a couple of tips.
1. Dip the head in boiling water to make it soft before removing. Mattel went heavy on the glue.
2. Invest in a good pair of needle nose pliers or beeding pliers to pull all the hair out.
3. Watch out for erasing the face! I sometimes seal mine with paint sealer before I start.
