lol. Okay. Reflections.
Water Settings > Reflections:
Max Reflectivity: 1-7%
Reflectivity Curve: usually 30-50
Direct Sunlight: 100% (lower if too much on spread)
Reflection Spread: usually around 20 or 30.
Use a low roughness (around 20 or so), and a wave size anywhere you want basically that you think looks nice. Also use a high visibility effect (150-175)
BMP Overlays: I use TG. If you have the SOPack, you are allowed to do BMP overlays onto a surface map. Add a child layer, puch the TEX button directly below "mimic terrain" slider. Push the + button and select SO Image Overlay. Then double-click SO Image Overlay (inside the selection box). Keep it as a total overlay. Select your terrain size, and how many times you want it tiled on your terrain. Then select the file you want to be tiled (BE SURE ITS A BMP OR TG WILL SHUT DOWN).
Then say okay. Modify as needed. And you can get the SOPack at [link] Hope this helps!

have you ever used photoshop in conjunction with terragen? It looks like you did a touch of that here. You can do some really eye-popping wonderful stuff with that technique.
I like this picture alot. the harshness of the terragen program is very subdued here. Very nice

yes i do a little photoshoping, mostly just contrast/leveling. I did blur the shore into the sand cause it was VERY sharp, other than that its untouched...im not very well versed in photoshop tools..
