Just a "quickie" which took much much much longer than I expected to complete due to lack of planning and experience. I'm still not satisfied with the background so some critique would really help!! >< I realize that I haven't been doing much personal work since I've entered college so I decided to just make something for practice. It feels good to make a non-college related artwork; now I hope I can finish my assignment for tomorrow's class @@;;;Oh, when I was drawing this piece I didn't really have the title "sugar baby love" in mind, I just thought it kinda fits the theme and its 's fault that "sugar baby love" by the Rubettes [link] keeps playing in my head now, so thanks a bunch!!

ohmigosh so pretty! <3<3<3 I like the saturated dark blue lines and how it goes together with the purplish red of the dress, it's like the dark colours in vintage film photos. Wish i could post a more helpful comment, but all can think to suggest is maybe to use more contrasting colours to stick out against the more muted colours for the candies, which although on their own are quite colourful kind of merge in with the rest of the picture.
