I thought I was being clever, thinking: “Oh, wonder what happens to Leafeon's foliage during Autumn?”

Apparently not.

Funnily enough, before I thought I'd struck genius with Leafeon's Autumnal colouration, I was tossing up the idea of albinism. No joke.

Anyway, this is a pretty big step in digital painting for me; the technique (to me, at least) looks much more "painterly," as I've retained the lines and flow of brush strokes while colouring -- rather than opting for an entirely smooth laying of colour.

Some of the anatomy is QUITE funky; I'm hard-set in my ways, so once the lines were drawn, I thought I'd run with it regardless.
