Sorry I have been away from DA!
Hmmmm
The hair definitely looks more rushed that the soft shading on the face, it is good to see brushstrokes sometimes as it adds texture, but a lot of the visible marks here are very rough...
You also need to follow the shape of the hair more, the spikes at the top of his head flow to the right but your brushstrokes donβt follow those lines and go to the left and up a little at the beginning of his mane!
Try adding a few more blended colours too instead of just white, light and dark grey to blend the colours for more texture and softness
Despite this, you are improving very quickly Horus, but from looking at this and some of your newer pictures, I think you need to slow down and commit more time to one full picture at a time rather than draw lots of half finished or rushed pictures! :3
