And finally an overview of how it all fits together.

Because of the flexible hinges, the armour can lie flat on the ground.

Also visible is the wire frame for a removable backpack I want to make to omplement this armour. So that I can attach ropes, sleeping bag, tools and of course the pickaxe to the back.

I still have to think of a way to reach it when worn.

I have also nearly finished the helmet and coat... should upload them at some point, when done..

And should think of pants and.. shirt and boots and...

This is awesome. I love how you integrated the "rough" metal work with the leather and the lamellar is beautiful

You seem to make some nice things with leather.

Maybe you should try to incorporate some steel into your projects? You can easily cut thin steel with a jeweler's saw

Thank you. I've been dabbling with leather off and on for years.
Thank you also for the tip, I hadn't considered a jeweler saw. I bet it makes much cleaner lines than tin snips lol which is what I've thought about using when I've been tempted to add metal to my works
