It's completely fine that you changed him a bit, I actually kind of like him better this way!!
I love the weird skinny legs and the cool red swirl around the tail!!
I'd keep the skull because that looks way better and cooler than the mask, but I can't draw skulls >n<
But I really love the way his eye is kind of coming out of the socket..
